On Christmas Day we received some unbelievable news. Water In A Broken Glass was accepted into the Pan African Film and Arts Festival 2019!!! We are so excited. When we were filming back in 2016, we never imagined that this little film would be accepted into such wonderful festivals. What a year 2018 has been. Thank you all for supporting us. We wouldn’t be here without you.

Surviving the Holidays

On Saturday, December 8, 2018, Dr. Patty Fitzhugh held a workshop entitled Together We Can Survive the Holidays. The workshop included inspirational dances and testimonies from people who had loss loved ones either through death or incarceration. It was designed to help people cope with the loss during the holidays, which can be extremely difficult. I was one of the speakers, but because I was recording, I was not on the video.
