Excerpt from In the Mirror — The Break-In
Listen to me read an excerpt from In the Mirror.
Jasmine is having a conversation with her love for Daniel about her brillant plan.
In the Mirror
Well, it’s coming down to the wire. In the Mirror will be re-released under Cool Water Press on Monday, June 3, 2013. I am so excited. I’ve been editing up a storm. I should be done by the end of this week. Angelo Diggs will take my picture for the back cover. It will be at either Cylburn or Clifton Park. I love those two areas. I’ll be putting together some book trailers. I’ve got a lot to do. I can’t wait to get it all done.
This Is Baltimore, Too is also taking shape. We are editing the next episode now. It’s call The Sounds of Spring in Baltimore. It’s all about the street musicians.
In between all of this I have book club meetings and workshops. I am thoroughly enjoying myself.
New Cover for In the Mirror
I’m working on a new cover for In the Mirror, which will be re-released on June 3rd, which just happens to be my birthday. I figured this would be a great present to myself.
Apples & Oranges in the Desert
All right. Here we go. Another wonderful edition of This Is Baltimore, Too. Featured this week is Apples & Oranges Fresh Market, owned and operated by Erich and Michelle March, of March Funeral Homes.
You have got to see this piece. The Marches have done what I thought about doing so many times when Super Pride Market closed in our neighborhood. They are providing a much needed service for the city of Baltimore and its residents.
I am thankful for the opportunity to help promote this Market. I am also thankful that Erich and Michelle March went beyond the thought and made this store a reality.
If you only go there once in your life, do it to support them. The doors of Apples & Oranges can only remain open if we support it. So out and do what we do best–Shop, Shop, Shop!!!
Thank you and enjoy the video.
Apples and Oranges In The Desert
On Thursday, This Is Baltimore, Too will feature Apples and Oranges Fresh Market.
This wonderful full service market is owned and operated by Baltimore’s own Erich and Michelle March. It is located in East Baltimore, at 1900 Broadway.
Please tune in and learn about the struggles and triumphs that helped bring this store into being.
Apples and Oranges
This morning I had a great interview with Michelle Speaks-March, co-owner of Apples and Oranges Fresh Market on North and Broadway Ave. She is such a wonderful and inspirational woman. She is a shining example of what is good in your Baltimore neighborhood. So stay tuned for This Is Baltimore, Too for a look at how Apples and Oranges came about and what you can do to keep its doors open.
