It’s finally here! The Official Rerelease of In The Mirror. It’s been a long few months, but with the help of some truly talented friends, I was able to put this book back out with a new, fantastic cover and some beautiful editing. Thanks to everyone who helped me get to this amazing point in my writing career. I believe readers will thoroughly enjoy reading how Jasmine goes about trying to prove that the love of her life is not in love with his wife. Now without further adieu, click on the link below and get your copy of In The Mirror. Happy Reading 🙂
On Saturday, July 25th, my new publishers, Edward Robinson and Natalie Stokes-Peters, held an Odessa Rose Fan Appreciation Day for all the people that have supported my writing. It was a great event. I wasn’t sure if I could do something like that at first, but when I realized that I’d be able to thank all of you for believing in and like my work, I was all for it.
We enjoyed good food, music, and conversation. I read a chapter from Kizmic’s Journey and I must say that it was a hit. I was a little worried that people wouldn’t like it, but everyone loved it. I’m going to do another reading this week and I’m going to post it here so people can see it.
Kizmic’s Journey is a wonderful story. I love the characters. I love the events that take place. It really takes you back to your childhood.
Kizmic’s Journey is scheduled for release in 2016. I can’t wait for you all to read it.
Here are a few pictures with some friends that came out.
Below is another A Few Minutes On Writing. This post talks about the self-doubt that most authors are afflicted with from time to time. I’m sure almost every author has heard the story about Stephen King and how after writing Carrie, he threw it in the trash and his wife retrieved it. Self-doubt causes more authors to throw their writing careers away than anything.
I haven’t been here in a minute. I’ve been so busy editing In the Mirror that I haven’t had a chance to blog. Well, as I said, I’ve been editing In the Mirror. It’s taking long than I anticipated, but the novel is shaping up much better than ever. I am so excited. Right now I’m getting rid of the 400+ similes I have in the book. I didn’t know they were there. I also had to get rid of 300 or so “as if” phrases. Overall, I’m having a good time because the book is a 100 times better than before.
