On Saturday, I met a wonderful group of women who make up the Cherry Hill Book Club. What an awesome time we had discussing Water In A Broken Glass. They truly got into the story. Marsha, the president, had three pages, front and back, of notes and questions. I felt like I was in school being tested on a reading assignment. LOL It was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you Ladies for selecting Water In A Broken Glass and the great support. Also, I made their wall of writers. I feel so special. LOL See you Ladies at the premiere for Water In A Broken Glass.
It’s finally here! The Official Rerelease of In The Mirror. I had an absolute ball with the Liberty Lite Bookclub. Everyone was so welcoming and we had a great discussion. I love it when readers can tell me things about my work that I didn’t even see. I want to thank Liberty Lite Bookclub for featuring Water in a Broken Glass and for loving it as much as I do.
Check out the new web site for Water The Film.
It looks like Water The Film is actually going to happen. Lodge Street Films has created a spec short to give you a preview of what the movie is about. Check it out.
What is Water In A Broken Glass about?
A few weeks ago, I contacted the owner of Club 347 and told him that his club was featured in In The Mirror. He told me to bring 2 posters and a signed copy of the book and he would post them in 347. We dropped the posters off last night, and he invited me to speak on Monday and Thursday night. I also met a poet name Miss. Jones and she also invited me to speak at her events and she wants a copy of the book. So, I want to thank Ronald, Miss. Jones, and the folks at 347 for all the support.
A few years ago, I met a wonderful woman online. I reached out to her on Facebook and asked her to purchase my novel, In The Mirror. She did and loved it. She went on to read Water In A Broken Glass and loved that, too. Since then, she and I have become great friends. Not because she read my books, but because she is a sweet, loving, fun, and talented woman. She is also very supportive. She give encouragement and sound advice. She is a woman everyone should be blessed enough to have in her corner. I am so happy that I had the courage to connect with her. I’ve always loved In The Mirror, but I love it even more because it helped to find a friend, not a reader, for life. Thank you E. Maree. I love you.
The beautiful and loving Etosha Bakari accepted the In The Mirror Challenge.
I stayed up last night until a little after three in the morning working on my press packets and rehearsing an excerpt for Water In A Broken Glass. I hope to have it posted tonight.
I found out that In The Mirror is now available at Barnes & Noble, in paperback and on the Nook. Two people have purchased and reviewed it. The reviews are great. They didn’t leave their names, but I want to take this opportunity thank them for reading In The Mirror and taking the time to review it.
Tonight’s the night. I will be chatting with Sistahs on Lit about In The Mirror. We will discuss the other woman, marriage, infidelity, love, romance, friendship, family, all the things that at the heart of In The Mirror. This promises to be a very interesting, entertaining, and informative discussion. I hope you will drop by and join in on the discussion, as I’m sure your comments will give us more insight into the other woman. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
